**Read** New Map!!

Hello Everyone.


Last night, me and Adam started on a new look rebel resistance map. Completly made from scratch. With my ideas and his superb mapping we will map a new rebel which will eventually run 24.7 on the server. Will take about 3 weeks to make, as the ramps on rebel are MASSIVE lol and will need to be made from scratch.

Any ideas are welcome and this is not just for YBC members, either. Anyone can put there input in as its more of a community than a clan nowadays.

I will be putting up screenshots, also. But for now we've done the spawn so far, and its fucking mint

Lol guys nice idea, i suppose we can make 2 top of jail, one on the first zone of teleportation and the second (higher than the first one) at pro teleportation, what do you think ?

We're making a 2nd pro, which goes on from the normal one, and then probally having buttons for lasers etc. I will put up a more detailed spec later on.

Right basically the style of the whole thing is alot more modern, ramps being re-smoothed so quick more adgile surfing. Then next is the jail, don't fully know whats going on with that but Kaizo had big plans for it so i will try and get on and see whats going on with that tonight. I think we're adding buttons to turn off sections of the lights and stuff in there and also a better way to do the lasers than before. Another thing thats being added is a new level for a harder pro2 which will have more monitors and buttons for various things im thinking.

Early stages yet but i will try and get some screen shots up by tonight guys. Cheers.

Awsome!!! It would be great if the "Pro" way was a bit more tricky than on the regular rebel server.

I'll get my PC fixed soon, i'm just waiting for my dad to take some time of work atm. Hopefully will be fixed in the upcoming weeks and depending on if they can save anything from my PC, i'll see about how long it's gunna take me to create this map. There will be screenshots posted when i eventually get in the process of making it.

As Jamie said, the theme of the recreation of rebel is modern. I'll be adding anything that is a sensible and accurate idea that anyone can comes up with.

Jail - The Jail is going to be very modern, but the same concept of the original jail, by this i mean it's still going to be 1 room, with an upper part, aswell as the actual jail floor. I'm obviously going to make sue you can get out of the jail, which leads you coming out of the above part of the new spawn. Wether i make the punishment 'lazers' i have yet to decide with Jamie, as i think i could have something more of an immaginative way.

The ramps as Jamie said are going to take a little more time, as they will be proper smooth ramps, but all shitty original ones.

As i said, i'll try and get my PC back and fixed ASAP.

i got an idea you could put a part of bhop (like you did on surf_greatriver_tm2) and then come in a secret zone with weapons, buttons, ....

What about more secrets ? It's always fun trying to find them

I will probably add a few secrets towards the end of making it. But i wont make many.

I dont really like making secrets because it's just another place for campers. If i make them, they'll be for YBC members

Update on my PC -

Finally got it taken into the PC shop to get it fixed on Saturday, I have no idea when it'll be ready, but i'm thinking around 2 weeks or so..

It was mentioned it might of been my graphics card thats fucked up.. but i dunno.

I'll keep you niggers posted and hopefully i'll be back and in the making of the upcoming rebel map.
